We were so excited to receive a note from Brother & Sister Whipple this week with a picture of Elder James and his two companions. Brother Whipple served a mission in Indonesia 35 years ago and was back to visit Solo with his family. He was able to visit with Elder James and give him some much needed words of encouragement and support. Brother Whipple was so excited to see members that he had baptized as well as their children and grandchildren. They said that Elder James looked great, seemed happy and was learning the language quickly. It was so sweet of them to send a quick message and picture.
